Minnaloushe’s moon

Why light up the streets in

this hour of

as we move between halogen offices

and LED homes?

We see clearly enough

Minnaloushe’s moon.

This is the time for

unproductive thoughts,

to recall

sometime, somewhere,

someone whose light,

imprinted in our mind,

still burns a

into the night.
