Minnaloushe’s moon
Why light up the streets in
this hour of
half-
light
as we move between halogen offices
and LED homes?
We see clearly enough
beneath
Minnaloushe’s moon.
This is the time for
unproductive thoughts,
to recall
sometime, somewhere,
someone whose light,
imprinted in our mind,
still burns a
hole
into the night.
